Job Summary

We are seeking an active Rhetoric and Composition scholar to contribute to our undergraduate, MA, and PhD programs and eventually take turns administering our undergraduate writing program, which was awarded the CCCC Writing Program Certificate of Excellence in 2014. Regular teaching assignment is two courses per semester. Competitive salary and benefits. Initial interviews via phone or Skype.

Minimum Qualifications

Required qualifications: PhD in Rhetoric and Composition or related field; clear indication of active scholarly agenda; experience teaching composition courses; demonstrated interest or experience in writing program administration. Applicants at the Assistant level must have the Ph.D. completed by August 2017.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications: feminist/queer, race or other cultural rhetorics; digital rhetorics; or global/transnational rhetorics; ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels across some combination of the following areas: WPA, composition studies, pedagogy, and rhetorical studies.
