UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing offers Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Nursing (MN), Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding (MSP), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in nursing. UW-Milwaukee partners with UW-Parkside to offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Students in the consortial nursing program at UW-Parkside are placed in clinical sites in the Racine and Kenosha area and take classes at the Parkside campus.

Job Summary

The employee will teach courses in clinical (hospital and long term care), community settings and/or health assessment laboratory for the College of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and/or University of Wisconsin-Parkside (Racine/Kenosha) and may include locations in clinical and community settings in southeastern WI.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 50% completion of Masters of Nursing or equivalent progression through a nursing doctoral program; Unrestricted license as RN in WI, or ability to become licensed as RN in WI; Evidence of at least two years of clinical practice experience in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Masters of Nursing degree; Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and/or PhD degree; Clinical and/or theory teaching experience in a nursing program; Expertise particularly in any of the following areas:
•Medical/surgical and/or long term care
•Pediatrics
•Public/community health
•Maternal and infant nursing
•Informatics
•Clinical leadership and/or management
