UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing offers Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Nursing (MN), Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding (MSP), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in nursing. UW-Milwaukee partners with UW-Parkside to offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Students in the consortial nursing program at UW-Parkside are placed in clinical sites in the Racine and Kenosha area and take classes at the Parkside campus.

Job Summary

Teach courses in the College of Nursing and carry out scholarly activities and community service in accordance with the mission of the College of Nursing and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. These positions emphasize teaching, leadership, service and scholarship within the College of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in Nursing or related field earned by the start of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing.

Unrestricted license as RN in Wisconsin or ability to become licensed as RN in Wisconsin.

Beginning or established program of scholarship.

Experience/expertise in teaching in one or more of the following areas: mental health; gerontology; community and global health; inter-professional education; informatics, quality and safety; and/or monitoring, evaluation and learning in complex systems.

Experience/expertise in clinical practice in one or more of the following areas: Adult/ gero/maternal-child Clinical Nurse Specialist; Family/adult/gero Nurse Practitioner; Community/population/public health
