Job Summary

This position will lead a variety of applied research and evaluation projects at The Center for Urban Population Health. This position will work with the community based organizations, health departments and health systems and other researchers to facilitate applied research as well as process and outcome data collection in aggregate and at individual levels for reporting back to funding agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with specialization in public health, evaluation, or a health related field.
• Experience working with diverse partners to plan, implement, and report on evaluation methods.
• Experience working with local community organizations.
• Experience with quantitative analysis using statistical software packages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with schools, school systems, and Milwaukee Public Schools in particular.
• Master’s degree with specialization in public health, evaluation, or a health related field.
• Three, or more, years’ experience in program evaluation including developing evaluation plans for community organizations.
• Evidence of excellent skills in the organization of complex workloads.
• Experience in planning and conducting community health assessments.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing qualitative data.
• Experience working with greater Milwaukee area community organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to co-author publications and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Access.
• Evidence of a foundation in research and evaluation methods.
• Project coordination experience.
